The Congress leadership is considering contacting the health minister, who was approached by AAP leaders a day after the release of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister claimant TS Singh, though party sources said there was nothing serious about it and Singh was loyal to the party.
The state health minister said in Raipur on Saturday that he had been approached by AAP leaders but would not resign.
However, Congress leaders in Delhi are wary as Sindh is also leading a large number of MLAs. After losing Madhya Pradesh due to Jyotiraditya Scindia’s mutiny, the party is not going to take any chances, sources said.
Coincidentally, Singdeoi was the first leader to demand the expulsion of Kapil Sibal after he spoke of his leadership of the party. “Everywhere you look today, the tide of protectionist sentiment is flowing. Sibal must be expelled from the party for expressing his personal and hateful views against the CWC’s joint decision, “he tweeted.
The change of leadership in Chhattisgarh is still a matter of controversy as both Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Sindeo have shown their strength and loyalty to the party.
However, after 2.5 years in the Baghel office, Sinddeo supporters have been pushing for a change of guard.
Singh, who insists on a rotating CM formula, maintains a line that everything is in the hands of the party leadership and whatever decision is taken by them will be taken.
