Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the party workers on April 6, the founding day of the BJP, News18 reported. The incident comes as the Bharatiya Janata Party won a landslide victory in four of the five states where assembly elections were held in February and March.
Sources said the Prime Minister could thank all the staff for the BJP’s impressive election performance on the occasion.
Party chief JP Nadda has instructed ministers, MPs, MLAs as well as party front and cell post holders to gather in one place and make arrangements for screening of addresses.
He also gave instructions on what to do before the Prime Minister’s speech.
“Raise the national flag, sing patriotic songs, decorate the venue, wear party caps and take out a 20 or 30 minute parade. After that, Bande Mataram should be sung before addressing the rally, “the source said.
The BJP has directed the main leaders to organize various social activities in their areas from April 6 to April 14. These include blood donation, vaccinations, women’s health, and nutrition awareness, as well as camps for pond cleaning.
On April 14, the party will pay homage to him at every booth and commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. BR Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Constitution of India and a Dalit icon.
In a public forum, Nadda asked the leaders to lay wreaths at the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar.
