Maharashtra BJP activist Mohit Kamboj has offered money to install loudspeakers over the temple to play ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ as he was in favor of Hindu unity and also demanded removal of illegal loudspeakers from mosques. Kamboj said he would provide free loudspeakers for ‘Hanuman Chalisa’.
He made the proposal in response to a call from MNS chief Raj Thackeray to turn off high-decibel loudspeakers at the mosque. Addressing a rally at Shivaji Park here on Saturday, Thackeray further said that if such steps were not taken, loudspeakers would be installed outside the mosque and Hanuman Chalisa would be played in large numbers. Kamboj has backed Thackeray’s demand for the removal of illegal loudspeakers installed in mosques.
“Those who want to place loudspeakers on the temple to play Hanuman Chalisa can ask us for free. There must be a voice of Hindu unity. Joy Shri Ram! Har Har Mahadev! “Kamboj tweeted in Hindi and Marathi on Monday. The Maharashtra government has already asked political parties to refrain from making comments that could create divisions in the community.
