MP Court issues notice to MP Jaya Bachchan in land transaction case

A district court in Madhya Pradesh has issued notice to Bollywood actress-politician Jaya Bachchan-Rajya Sabha MP on the issue of a land deal. The Bhopal district court issued the notice on April 7 and asked him to appear before the court by April 30 to file his reply.

Samajwadi Party MP Bachchan has been issued a notice on the basis of a criminal case filed against the son of Anuj Daga – former BJP MLA Jitendra Daga, alleging that he had canceled a land sale agreement after receiving a portion of the payment.

Daga’s lawyer Enosh George Carlo told IANS on Saturday that Jaya Bachchan had been accused of demanding more than the agreed amount.

According to Carlo, Daga was in a deal to buy land with an advance of Rs 1 crore from Jaya Bachchan.

The money was deposited in Jaya Bachchan’s account. However, after a few days, the money was returned to the account of Anuj Dagar. Later, they demanded a higher price than the agreed amount – Rs 2 crore per acre of land, and then broke the agreement. “

“When a proposal is made under Indian treaty law, it is accepted. Once considered, the deal is done. The deal between my team and Jaya Bachchan was done digitally, and Rs 1 crore was deposited in the bank account as agreed under the deal, ”the lawyer said.

Carlo claims that Bachchan owns 5 acres of land in Sevania Gaur in Bhopal district which he bought about 12 years ago. The lawyer said he had allowed Rajesh Hrishikesh Yadav to sell the land.

“The court has accepted the case for consideration and a notice has been issued. The next hearing will be on April 30. Jaya Bachchan has been asked to appear in court, ”said Dagar’s lawyer.
