President Kobind will inaugurate the conference of top judicial officials of India in the presence of Governor of Gujarat Acharya Debabrata and Chief Justice of India Justice NV Ramna.

President Ram Nath Kobind will inaugurate the two-day National Judicial Conference organized by the Gujarat High Court on April 9 in a tent near the ‘Statue of Unity’ in Gujarat’s Narmada district, officials said on Thursday.

Gujarat Governor Acharya Debabrata, Chief Justice of India Justice NV Ramana, Chief Justice of the Gujarat High Court Justice Arvind Kumar and the Registrar General of Gujarat have said that President Kobind will inaugurate the conference of top judicial officials of India. The conference will be attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju, Supreme Court Justice L Nageshwar Rao, Justice S Abdul Nazir, Justice MR Shah, Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Bela M Trivedi. April 9 and 10. Besides the chief justice, senior judges and registrars of various high courts will also attend the conference, Desai said.

“On the first day there will be three sessions on arbitration and on April 10 there will be two sessions on information technology. Supreme Court Justice DY Chandrachur will address the gathering via video conference. The future of the judiciary and the judiciary,” he added. It will cover aspects of arbitration as well as commercial arbitration and its benefits for stakeholders. The process and benefits of pre-litigation arbitration and mode of online arbitration will also be discussed, the statement said.
