Shivpal Yadav will take the path of ‘arm’ Aparna? His 20 minutes to CM Yogi

Amid growing differences between Shivpal and SP chief-nephew Akhilesh Yadav, the Progressive Socialist Party (Lohia) Shivpal Yadav met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence in Lucknow on Wednesday. The meeting sparked speculation about the possibility of Shivpal’s daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav, who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party before the state elections.

5, the meeting at Kalidas Marg is said to have lasted for about 20 minutes. The development is seen as crucial as Shivpal came four days after criticizing the Samajwadi Party for not inviting him to a meeting of the Legislative Assembly, where Akhilesh was elected party leader.

The PSPL leader said on March 26 that despite being an MLA from the SP, he was not called for a review meeting of the SP MLAs. However, the SP later clarified that Shivpal had his own party and he was an ally and later a meeting was scheduled for the allies.

Two days ago, Shivpal missed a meeting called by the alliance partners at Akhilesh SP’s office. Others invited included Om Prakash Rajvar, Pallavi Patel and Rajpal Balian.

Suheldeo Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) MLA Abbas Ansari and Apna Dal (K) leader Pallavi Patel also did not attend the meeting. Patel, who defeated Keshab Prasad Maurya, was represented by his party (K) national general secretary Pankaj Niranjan.

In the recent UP Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party retained power in the state for the second consecutive term, winning 255 out of 403 assembly seats. SP got 111 seats. After the result, Shivpal blamed the BJP for their defeat. “Our (SP alliance) seats and voting rate have increased in the elections. The people of the state have not lost the SP. We lost because of the dishonesty and cunning of the BJP, ”said Shivpal.

Shivpal contested the SP symbol from his traditional Yashwantnagar constituency in Etawah district in the recent elections.
