Uma Bharati said on Twitter that it was a “minor mistake” by the local police and administration that prevented her from attending the grand swearing-in ceremony.

He later congratulated the newly sworn in chief minister on Twitter, but made a point of mentioning why he could not attend the glittering ceremony.

He said on Twitter that it was a “small mistake” on the part of the local police and administration, which prevented him from attending the event. “I have come to Lucknow to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Yogiji’s cabinet. Due to a slight mistake of the local police and administration, we could not reach the place of taking oath due to traffic jam. I wish Yogi Sarkar success, ”he tweeted in Hindi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar and other senior leaders including Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Tagore were present on the occasion.

Shah had to walk 500 meters to reach the venue after he got stuck in a traffic snarl outside a gate of the stadium.
