Varanasi is preparing for Yogi’s 1st visit after term-2 as CM, will be accompanied by leader

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Varanasi on Saturday for the first time after taking charge of the state for the second time. The leader will welcome Nepal’s Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to the city on Sunday.

Scheduled to reach Varanasi at 7 pm, Adityanath will hold a review meeting with officials after his arrival. According to sources, the chief minister may also visit the city’s ongoing development projects at night, which is also the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will take stock of the work done so far.

Adityanath will be in Kashi on Saturday night and sources said that he will hold a review meeting with the people’s representatives at the circuit house and evaluate the development works.

On Sunday, Adityanath will welcome the Prime Minister of Nepal in Varanasi and spend the whole day with Deuba.

The Chief Minister will be accompanied by Prime Minister Deuba on a visit to Kashi Bishwanath, Kal Bhairab and Pashupati Nath, a temple in Nepal. Adityanath will also hold a meeting with the leader in the afternoon.

And after the Prime Minister of Nepal leaves for Delhi, Adityanath will return to Lucknow.

Meanwhile, the Varanasi district administration is busy making the final touches of preparations ahead of Deuba’s visit.

On the first day of the visit, the Prime Minister of Nepal arrived at the BJP headquarters and met JP Naddar. The Prime Minister of Nepal also paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in the capital.

This is Deuba’s first bilateral foreign trip since becoming prime minister in July last year for the fifth time since the political unrest in Kathmandu. As the Prime Minister of Nepal, Deuba has visited India in his previous four terms. His last visit to India as Prime Minister was in 2017.
